FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Anchor 1

DOES THE STUDIO TAKE WALK IN'S? We are a drop-in studio, so walk in's are always welcome, our studio accepts cash and eftpos, no credit cards or paywave sorry! Be mindful that our Summer season can often get busy, so to secure yourself a spot in the studio, we do recommend booking online through our website. Prepaid online bookings do get priority over walk in's.

HOW DO I BOOK A CLASS? You can book a class via our website timetable, simply choose a class you want to attend, click 'book now' and follow the prompts to register through our booking system. Once you have registered, the easiest way to book ongoing classes is through our booking app, called Momoyoga. You can find this in the App Store or Google Play Store on your phone.

HOW DO I CANCEL A CLASS? WILL I BE CHARGED? If you book online then find you can't make the class, don't worry, just cancel the class that same way you booked or drop us a line and we can cancel it at our end. The class will ONLY be charged if you fail to cancel to a fully booked class and the teacher has had to turn away yogi's due to space.

DO YOU TAKE PRIVATE GROUPS? Yes we do. Flick us an email with all the details and we will see if we have a teacher available to accommodate your group. P.S we can also provide the studio and all the yoga mats :)

IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE TO ATTEND A STUDIO CLASS? Our studio classes are aimed toward adults and older teens, so we do have a minimum age requirement of 16 years old.

WHAT DO I NEED TO KNOW FOR MY FIRST CLASS? Arrive at least 10 minutes before class to check-in, set your mat up and get settled into the studio. Also please let the teacher know before class starts, if you have any injuries or concerns. We provide yoga mats free of charge, cash and eftpos is accepted in studio and we have bathroom/changing rooms facilities. Try to avoid a big meal before a class, opting for something lighter - yoga is best practiced on an empty stomach.

WHAT DO I WEAR? Come in comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely without having to adjust too much. No fancy yoga pants or tights are required, just something with a little stretch always works best. No shoes are required during classes, as yoga is practiced best barefoot. We have toilet facilities and a changing room if you need to change before or after a class.

I AM A BEGINNER, IS THAT OK? Of course, we believe yoga is for every body! Our teachers will work with you to provide modifications to postures throughout our classes. We also hold a Beginners series every few months, check out our Facebook or Instagram or sign up to our newsletter for all our upcoming series.

I AM PREGNANT, CAN I STILL PRACTICE? Probably, but everyone's pregnancy is a little different. Consult your midwife or doctor then drop a us a message to discuss our recommendation of class style.

WHAT IS THE STUDIO ETIQUETTE? We are a causal bunch, but do ask that you follow the below guidelines: • Turn your phone OFF or on SILENT. Including Iphone watches. • Please remove your shoes at the entrance area. • We start class at the advertised time, please arrive at least 10 mins before a class. • We encourage a social community, so feel free to chat quietly with your neighbour prior to class starting. • If it's a full class, please extend the yoga love by making room for your fellow yogi.
